The tool converts your image into ASCII text art using brightness mapping, where lighter pixels become sparse characters and darker pixels become denser ones. Adjust the output width from 40 to 200 columns, pick from four character set presets, and toggle between monochrome and colored text art output.
Four character set presets  Standard, Detailed, Blocks, and Simple  offer different visual styles for your text art. The invert toggle swaps light and dark mapping for images with dark backgrounds. Color mode preserves the original image colors using ANSI-style coloring. Copy the result to your clipboard or download it as a text file. All processing uses the Canvas API in your browser with no server uploads.
